So you’ve a pair of skis and want to go traveling. Are you looking for a fresh destination that the crowds are not flocking for their ski holidays? Do you want to be able to boast not only about the great lines but likewise the journey you and your friends had arriving to the destination? Below are two adventure, novel, new, different, exciting} destinations for going snowboarding.

Les Contamines-Montjoie constitutes one of them. It’s one of the most elevated skiing areas in the French Alps, and because of the height you can telemark on it all year round. The superior elevations remain snowcapped year-around and afford all year round snowboarding enjoyment. The resorts pistes are some of the best in the alps and it is no wonder that the resort is a snowboarding adventure.

Les Trois Vallees is the last adventurous ski mountain. Found in the most southerly colonized point of the world winters are intense and snows are heavy. The result are snow covered mountains which reach all the way to the sea. There is not a nicer spot to relish skiing. With numerous superior ski fields, you are rarely far from the slopes. If you cast an eye S while skiing one is looking unobstructed to the sea. It truly is the number one snowboarding trip.

The Subway Approach to Weight Loss

For many of us, fast food is the only food at lunchtime. We’re in a tremendous hurry to get back to our workday, so we choose food based on convenience rather than nutritional value. In recent years, a number of fast food outlets have attempted to add more health-conscious selections to their menu; for the most part, these consist of salads and fruit cups. While they may have fewer calories than standard fast food, they may not be as tasty.

Yet, in many cities, there is an alternative to the regular burger-and-salad fare: Subway, a restaurant which specializes in six inch and foot-long submarine sandwiches. At first glance, you wouldn’t think of Subway as being a dieter’s delight–there is all that carbohydrate-rich bread and fat-filled cheeses. However, to Jared Fogle, Subway is like diet Nirvana. That’s because Jared lost 245 pounds through what he calls the Subway diet. His routine consisted of a six-inch turkey sub, sans mayonnaise and cheese, potato chips, and a diet drink for lunch. Dinner consisted of a foot-long veggie sub, also without condiments, and more diet cola. As a result of his experience, Jared has become a spokesman for Subway.

As far as exercise is concerned, Jared avoided it at the beginning. Weighing more than 400 pounds, he found it difficult to move. However, as he began losing weight, he started walking to his college classes instead of taking the bus. Eventually, he began walking 1.5 miles each day.

One of the key ingredients of Jared’s Subway diet is convenience. It is relatively simple to walk to a Subway restaurant and order subs twice a day. You don’t have to spend time shopping for food and preparing meals. If you enjoy sub sandwiches, you may find the diet easy to maintain. Since you will be consuming only about 1,000 calories, weight reduction is also guaranteed. Thus, it might be one of the most effective diets in existence today.

Of course, there are disadvantages to the Subway diet. For instance, eating the same type of subs each day can be repetitive and difficult to stomach. Also, you may lose out on vital vitamins and minerals such as vitamin D and zinc. In addition, the diet offers nothing in the way of breakfast, so you will be sacrificing the nutrients that a healthy breakfast can provide. In addition, the Subway diet can be an expensive one to follow, since you’ll have to purchase all those sub sandwiches.

However, it’s possible that you can vary Jared’s diet and still lose weight. Subway offers a number of sandwiches with six grams of fat or less. These include the six inch ham (290 calories), the six-inch chicken breast (330 calories), the six-inch roast beef (290 calories), the six-inch club (320 calories), the sweet onion chicken teriyaki (380 calories), the turkey breast (280 calories), turkey breast and ham (290 calories), and veggie delite (230 calories). Subway also offers carb-conscious wraps as an alternative to sub buns. These include the chicken bacon ranch wrap, tuna wrap, turkey and bacon melt, and turkey breast wrap. In addition, the restaurant chain now offers a number of salads which are also a healthy alternative to normal fast food fare.

One of the great advantages to Subway is the large amount of fresh vegetables which you can add to your sandwich. You can choose such items as spinach, tomatoes, lettuce, olives, green peppers, and sweet peppers. You can change the types of vegetables you use each day in order to add variety to your meal.

The critical problem with any Subway-based diet is the discipline required. Day after day, you have to limit your food intake to what is available at the Subway counter. This can be quite a challenge. While you can choose from different lunch meats, and you can combine subs with salads, you are still quite limited in your menu choices.

Is the Subway diet right for you? If you really love subs and hate to cook, Subway may offer just the meal plan you’re looking for. However, if you are not fond of subs and you want a lot of variety in your diet, you’ll have to pass up the Subway plan for another diet.

A domain name provides an identity to the business. While buying a domain name you need to note down the name of the website domain names and its nearest ones so that if you do not get that particular domain name, then you can go for the nearest one (for example, if you require a mattress website then you can buy a mattresse.com, choosing-a-mattress.com, allmattress.com, bestmattress.com etc)

If you want a domain name for your personal use, then use your name, surname etc. For your business domain name you can go for a domain name with catch phrases. You can check whether the domain name is available or not by searching through www.whois.org.

It’s not necessary that you have to get a domain name with .com, you can buy .net, .us etc. If you like a domain name and would like to buy that particular name but it is registered with somebody else, then you can contact that person in the administrative contact section through whois search from the website. Sometimes domain name owners sell their domain names. Domain names have value and if the domain name is a unique one, then it could be sold for a higher rate.

Every day thousands of people join affiliate programs and yet every day thousands more get discouraged and give up trying to make money from their affiliate programs.

Still, thousands others wait for their generous checks from all sorts of affiliate programs and laugh all the way to the bank, every month. I make good money from an affiliate program using articles as the main part of my affiliate marketing strategy.

But what is more is that there are plenty of other guys out there doing the same, although some of them use more expensive methods than free articles. For example, recently I personally saw a monthly check for $15,000 shown to me by a friend involved in a leading affiliate marketing program.

So what is the difference between the frustrated and the successful?

The difference is that the top earners have an affiliate marketing system for generating a constant supply of leads or traffic to the web sites they represent. In contrast, the ones who do not make any money do not have any system. They often just sit back and wait for things to happen. Sorry folks the hype is just not true. You have to put in some effort!

In this first article in a series, we will deal with 3 key factors one needs to address to launch a successful affiliate marketing strategy using articles that can work for virtually any affiliate program.

1) You must know what works and what doesn’t.

The problem with most affiliate programs is that you will not be able to know where your traffic is coming from. Online that is a disaster. It is like flying an aircraft blind. Sooner or later you will crush.

A good solution is to start a blog with an identical topic to your affiliate program. Use a good site meter to carefully monitor the traffic you are receiving. You can then easily refer the people who visit your blog to your affiliate site. To make your blog even more interesting you can carry Google Adsense pay per click ads. This way you can have some income even as you build up your affiliate program. Use the articles that you are posting elsewhere on your blog.

While generating revenue from your blog, do not lose sight of your main objective which is to monitor what articles posted at which web sites are bringing in the most traffic. You can then use this information to constantly improve on the volume of traffic headed to your affiliate program site.

This is yet another reason why it is so important to select an affiliate program based on a subject that you are personally interested in. Maybe closely linked to a hobby you really love. Only then will you have the enthusiasm to constantly come up with various new ideas to market your affiliate program and have the passion required to regularly test and improve and also enjoy doing so.

See my other articles on how to write effective articles and where to post them.

2) Write consistently
Some people will briefly post a few articles and then throw in the towel. What a waste. Not only do they lose the benefits of the viral effect all good articles enjoy on the net (of getting posted and reposted all over the place.) but they will also end up wasting a lot of their valuable time. Time is a very valuable resource, imagine spending so much of it on something and not then you abandon it and end up not having learned anything?

The other thing is that for traffic to rise and continue doing so, you will have to be very consistent with your posting.

3) Use keywords to increase traffic
Ignore keywords at your own peril. Keywords are the currency of online content. You will only enjoy 5% of the effect or even less, if you do not pay attention to keywords.

Look for keywords that are rising in popularity but do not have too much competition yet. That way you will have a fighting chance of pulling in traffic from the search engines, which is the most effective affiliate marketing method so far. This can easily be done using search engines and testing various keywords to see what results you get.

The effectiveness of search engines is the reason why many successful affiliates buy pay-per-click ads as the core of their affiliate marketing strategy. However since you are doing your affiliate marketing with articles, you will need to work a lot harder to place your keyword-rich articles in as many web sites as possible. Done properly it can be just as effective.

For example 10 keyword-rich articles placed in 50 different sites and viewed by an average of just two people per day on average will give you 1000 hits per day. If 20 per cent of these people make it to your affiliate site every day that is 200 serious visitors a day. Enough to make most affiliate programs work well for you.

Please do not take these figures too seriously. It also depends on a lot many other factors which we will discuss in future articles.

I had written this poem way back 1995 when I was in first year high school for our school paper. As a freshman, I was really challenged to surmount the achievements of the so-called “older ones”. This poem is very special to me because it is the product of my desire to do things greater than what older people can do. The poem conveys that small things are not only bright and wonderful, rather, useful too. Its meaning is universal and multi-dimensional.

I made used of a very basic style in writing this poem. I observed rhyme and simplicity in language. To add a little twist, I personified the candle. Basically, the entire poem is a dialogue between the reader and the candle. The setting is in Bethlehem where baby Jesus was born. It was the very first Christmas, though, it’s not blatantly told. The context clues I had given say so.

Because of its simplicity, the poem was published in our school paper and in our yearbook. The poem too was published in Quill Books’s hardbound edition volume, A Time To Be Free, last 1998 in Harlingen, Texas.

A Candle

by Jocell Siyangbigay Maranan

O little candle in the night!!,

burning in the room very bright!!

Its head bows lowly,

pointing back and forth so slowly

Look outside the brick window!

See the stars shooting below!

See the moon and its lasting brightness!

Feel the night and its chilling coldness!

You are comparably smaller,

to those decorative celestial wonders

How could you make the darkness,

turned out to be the brightest?

Why do you have to sacrifice,

yourself so scarce to suffice?

Are you enough for the night,

to make the room very bright?

About the Author: Jocell Maranan’s Short Biography: Jocell Siyangbigay Maranan was born on February 9, 1982 in Batangas City. He is the third of the five children of Mr. Juan A. Maranan (deceased), a public school teacher, and Mrs. Cecilia S. Maranan, a registered midwife. His father died at the age of 62 when he was 14 years old. Because of this, his mother struggled in raising him and his siblings solely. At an early age, he showed signs of eagerness to go to school. He spent his kindergarten days in Bauan East Central School, elementary in St. Theresa’s Academy and high school in Sta. Teresa College.

As a freelance writer, it is important to present yourself to your clients in a highly effective way. One of the most effective methods that freelancers use is a website. You can and should produce your own website to draw people in and learn about your skills. But, what should you put in your website? And, is it really cost effective to maintain a website that you don’t know in advance will get used?

Your website will allow you to showcase your talent. You can providing clients with a look at what you can do. Can you write? If so, then your website should be able to draw the attention of your clients and hold it. If you are writing for search engine optimization, it makes very good sense that your website should be able to work in this way for you as well. Your abilities are seen first hand by all those who visit your website. On the website you can include things like your skills and qualifications, writing samples, and even testimonials about your work. You can also include ways for people to get your rates or to ask you questions.

An effective website will offer the client a way to view the abilities of a prospective writer.

Freelance work can sometimes be tricky business. People do not want to give employment or fill job vacancies with individuals who can not provide them with quality work. As a writer, it is up to you to sell yourself before you try to sell your client’s products. It just makes sense! You can showcase your talent through providing references to other pieces of work you have done in the past. In any case, it is quite likely that people will look to fill their for writering positions online.

Having your own website to present yourself is an important aspect of having a successful freelance career.

In these uncertain times when we all would like to feel safe, and
when we don’t really want to travel so much for our business, we
need to look to the Online Marketing Machine of ePublishing.

Your audience today is Internet savvy. They love the Web, surf
it regularly and are looking for specific information that. You
have that expertise already and can easily put it into an eBook.

Business audiences want concise, easy-to-read short books on
subjects from personal growth to how-to books. They are willing
to print short eBooks, often only the chapters they plan to read
immediately. Fact: Everyone can open and print your eBook
through regular email or attachment, without needing expensive
eBook readers.

Hardly any business person wants to read a long book any
more. If you are like me, you probably don’t want to either.

Ebooks are the wave of the future, and anyone, even those who
think they can’t write, can create a quality eBook in less than a
month. With a little help from a book coach, you can learn the
three or four best ways to use your eBook with other Online
Promotion-and watch your client base grow.

If you are a speaker, you already have several talks you can
give. One of those talks can be your first short eBook. Print
books and traditional publishing don’t support the author. They
take way too long, and only give the author a pittance for a lot of
hard work.

Ebooks are easy work. In fact, with the articles you have in your
files, plus the talks you already have written, you have the
beginnings of your first eBook. Instead of 200 pages, think
10-30 pages. Instead of 15 chapters, think of 3-5 sections.
Instead of long stories, think of tips.

Why eBooks and Web Sites Go Together

Today, professionals need a Web site to market their services.
On that Web site they can offer your eBook as a free bonus. On
that Web site they need a home page with marketing pizzazz that
uses benefit-driven headlines to drive the visitor to their coaching
pages as well as to their product pages. On these pages they will
also have a “sales letter” crafted that entices readers to buy. Web
sites, eBooks, and services are a key to great promotion.

EBooks help your coaching business because you can give the
very short ones away when people subscribe to your
eNewsletter. Your ezine helps promote both your eBooks and
your services. Even if you don’t have your own Web site, you
can sell eBooks on other sites. Many pay up to 70% royalties-a
much better deal than Amazon.

Use The “Big Three” Marketing Machine

If you are having a busy day, a few short breaks for exercise at work can improve your mood and your body at the same time. Do yourself a favor and squeeze in five minutes of fitness - you’ll be glad you did!

Set your computer to remind you when it’s time for a brief 5-minute workout, and plan to have at least four 5-minute exercise breaks throughout the day.

Here are eight ways to exercise at work:

1. Step outside the building and take a brisk walk around the parking lot. While you exercise your cardiovascular system and muscles by walking fast, the excess tension in your system drains away so you return to work feeling relaxed and refreshed.

2. Ride the elevator to the bottom floor and then climb the stairs back up to your floor. If your building is four floors or shorter, repeat. If your office building has no stairs, you can buy an inexpensive workout step and keep it in your office. The exertion of step climbing helps work out stress and emotion.

3. Stand about two feet away from your desk, bend at the waist, and place your hands on the edge of the desk to support your body. Hold for thirty seconds and then stand up straight and take several deep breaths. Repeat twice more. Stretching your back helps release tension in the spine and shoulders.

4. Keep tennis balls in a desk drawer and grab two of them when you feel tense. Hold one tennis ball in each hand and squeeze as hard as you can for eight seconds. Release and relax; then repeat several more times. This exercise conditions the forearms and increases hand strength.

5. Keep a set of resistance bands in your office to use for exercise. If you feel irritated, take the highest-resistance band and use it for lateral raises (place one end of the band under your foot and hold the other end in your hand at about waist height; lift the band straight out to the side).

6. Keep a set of dumbbells at the office. Do some strength building exercises for the arms and back.

7. Stretch to relieve tension and stiffness in joints and relieve your mid-afternoon energy slump. You can even keep a yoga mat in your office for stretching and yoga poses.

8. Use your office walls as workout equipment: Stand about eighteen inches away from the wall or door, place your hands on the surface at about shoulder height, and do vertical push-ups. Challenge yourself by moving farther away or changing the position of your hands on the wall. You can even do one-handed push-ups vertically - it can be a great introduction to the real thing.

You can sell more by writing less.

If you are like many small business owners you may
unwittingly suffer from “too many words” syndrome. It
occurs when your marketing material features extra words
that don’t contribute to creating new business.

When your marketing material is too wordy you blur the
clarity of your marketing message. The less clearly your
prospects understand how you can help them the less likely
they are to buy from you. You want your marketing message
to come through without interference.

Too many words syndrome can rear its ugly head in just about
any copy. It’s been known to lurk in web sites, brochures,
direct mail and newspaper ads, to name just a few places
it’s been found.

There is no reason to fear, however. The causes of too many
words syndrome can be isolated and removed to improve your
marketing material.

Should you choose to inspect and upgrade your copy you will
need to know what to look for and what to do. Here are some
tips to help you spot and eliminate bloated copy.

In a nutshell, what you need to do is remove unnecessary
words. The first step is identifying them. Look for the
words that don’t contribute to one of the following goals:

Attracting Attention
Clients know what they want and are attracted to words that
describe their needs. When they read words that describe
something that concerns them they recognize something
familiar and take notice. Your ads will be noticed more
often by focusing your copy around words that that describe
your clients’ needs.

Describing Results
Clients buy results. They do not care about the fancy
process you use or that you are the leader in your industry.
What they care about is that you can provide what they
need. You can sell more when your copy clearly describes
the results and benefits you provide.

Conveying Value
Clients seek value. Your copy must help your prospects
perceive that they will get more for their money if the buy
from you. You can demonstrate value by offering something
none of your competitors offer or by doing something more
efficiently. You can also create value by giving away
something useful in return for your clients’ business.

Creating Urgency
Clients buy when they perceive their need for your product
or service as being at least somewhat urgent. The urgency
you seek for your prospects can stem naturally from their
current circumstance or artificially from copy you create.
If you’ve done your job conveying value you have a better
chance of successfully prodding your prospects to buy sooner
rather than later.

One way to create urgency with words is to limit the
availability of your offer. Just be sure to truly limit the
availability of the offer you make. If you don’t, you risk
losing credibility.

Requiring Action
Before your clients buy from you they must be told what to
do. It’s unfortunate, but true. An excited prospect may
choose not to pursue a sale simply because he or she wasn’t
clearly instructed to do so. Be sure your copy includes
explicit instructions that are simple and to the point.

As you spot words in your marketing material that don’t
contribute to one of the five goals listed above delete
them. You will most likely have to do a small editing job
to get your remaining words to sound just right. The work
is worth it.

While you scan your copy ask yourself questions like:

Does this word, phrase or sentence contribute to
accomplishing one of the five copy writing goals?

Would this sentence or phrase lose its meaning or be more
clear if I remove this particular word or phrase.

Are any of these word or phrases redundant in meaning?

When you’re done editing your copy it should be shorter than
what it was when you started. It should also be easier to
read and more crisply convey your marketing message.

What is your marketing message?

In the future Politicians will use smart mob groups and cell phone social networks via instant messaging to unite supporters and rally their voters and once they do you might see whole slates of candidates across the country taking the old boy network down in flames.

Doubt what I am saying is true, then you are nave. In fact I see a time in the very near future when candidates on both sides will rally supporters via instant messaging to instant SmartMob rallies. If a politician is having an instant all-comers BBQ or a Smart Mob is having a giant singles Party, come on down! Can you envision what I am saying?

How hard would this be and think how fast it will grow too? It would be literally unstoppable and the power to the people would become a way to instantly cut the corruption in Congress, by electing huge numbers of slate candidates and even start a new party.

It would not be Democrat or Republican it would be the People of Technology and they would not be able to be stopped, not even slowed down and it would take the nation by storm.

There is no doubt in my mind that Future Politicians Will Use SmartMobs to Unite Voters and Supporters and in doing so they will change the world. So are you on board or not? Vote for Lance.
