Fewer Winter Sports Vacations for Sale next Winter Season Means Less Rebates
Skiers and snowboarders should anticipate ski holidays to cost upwards of 10 per cent more for ski chalet holidays this winter as chalet operators slash the amount of holidays for sale.
High season weeks will be especially pricey but even at additional weeks there will be less big discounts on vacations.
Skiing insiders report that with ski operators slashing capacity by as much as 21 per cent prices are unlikely to fall.

How Seahorses Came to Swim Upright
Seahorses are one of the most unique animals, having a horse-shaped head and an ability to swim in the upright position - a very rare occurrence in the animal kingdom.
A recent study by Australian researchers Professor Luciano Beheregaray of Flinders University and Dr. Peter Teske of Macquarie University has gathered scientific evidence to explain how the seahorse evolved and came to swim “standing up.”
The research began when the two scientists began to question the origins of the pygmy pipehorse, a small fish that looks like a seahorse. They began comparing genetic information and determined a relation between the upright-swimming seahorse and the horizontally-swimming pygmy pipehorse.
Using molecular dating techniques, the researchers found that seahorses lived 25 million years ago and started swimming upright when they shifted to a different habitat, just like how men started walking upright when they moved to the savannahs.
The Oligocene epoch saw an expansion of seagrass in Australasia, and this is where scientists believe the pygmy pipehorse and the seahorse separated. The seahorse moved to the seagrass, whose vertical blades offered camouflage and leading it to evolve to swimming upright.
On the other hand, the horizontal-swimming pygmy pipehorse remained on the reef and did not have the need to evolve into the upright posture.

One Man’s Dating Style: Expect something Great
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not the kind of gullible bachelor, traditionally accustomed to being missing the fun like a spoil sport. I’d bet people probably never witnessed me post about great dating and compatibility. Go figure.
Idleness is a fixable foreign condition and entirely neglected in my pedigree. Even so, Here’s the situation, I was forced to end a solid fling which meant a lot for us but truly deadended for both of us. So one might go on record saying it has been a few years since I was dating. I’m missing the optimism of dating thru great expectations that came naturally before.
Living free and single isn’t bad. One thing is for sure, I won’t sit tight, undisturbed, devowering Two and a Half Men on my big screen. The biggest factor behind this spell of fresh break-up dating loneliness? The people I know are settling down, and most ladies I meet at work are taken.
My take-no-holds football pal, Jim, who has never had dating loneliness, sympathized because he is now shooting from the same blind as I am. He linked me to the Great Expectations Dating service. I like meeting sophisticated women around my age. So I decided to make a change and paid the membership fee to get started.
Keep it real, ya can’t complain by going dateless when you haven’t even put yourself into the game. Like our old basketball coach Jason Kniffen snuck into conversation with a smile, “When the ladies don’t bite, bite them first, shooter.”
I don’t know why he called me that. Even so, he was a source of truth in a good old fashioned way. He was good humored. The crazy series of Dallas singles events I just went to might’ve overloaded the gipper’s shiny bald head.
At great expectations singles events I spent time with some quality and attractive singles that catch my interest. I actually had a blast with dozens of terrific incredible singles. I ducked out of the mixer a little early following a sweet farewell, and even developed some professional relationships for work. Very cool.

These bands play a wide assortment of different sounds from across the world. Whether you are in to Latin flavours that a Flamenco dancer can sweat to, or melodic African guitars to make you shuffle your feet with a smile, this arena has got it covered in all areas.
This venue has come a long way and operates on the highest level. Each performer is at their professional peak and deserves a listen from every adult in London to observe what what each person in the orchestra does so well.

What better way to make it easy for your customers to find you? As you become better known online, and as you build your customer database, it will become increasingly important for your customers to be able to find you based on your personal name.
Buying your personal name allows you to build credibility for your brand identity and makes it easy to “Google” you. Ever tried typing in just your first and last names at Google? Try it and see what happens.
If you aren’t showing up in the results, you will want to work on this. And buying your own personal name as a domain name is a simple and very effective way to get going.
3. Buy the most common spelling mistakes for your domain.
Even if you follow the advice in (2) above, it may be inevitable that some of your visitors will misspell your domain. It’s human error.
So although these may not be obvious to you at first, it’s worthwhile putting your antennae up in order to figure it out. The first hint? If you misspell your own domain name, chances are others will. Be sure to grab the most common ones.
Example: www.Google.com, www.Gogle.com and www.Gooogle.com all go to the same page. Why? Google “gets” that lots of people type in too few or too many “Os” and has set it up so everyone gets to the right place.
4. Double check your domain names for odd or unintentional meanings.
This one is a bit mixed, because if your domain name turns out to be something quite funny, it might be just that much more memorable and bring you free traffic. But you may not want to be remembered in that way, and the traffic that results could be a detriment to you. (The wrong target market just clogs up your system, uses bandwidth, and creates customer service inquiries you don’t want.)
So do a double check to see if your domain says something you didn’t expect.

www.newsextracts.com is actually a clipping service, but could be interpreted to be something rather more racy.
www.whorepresents.com is actually a site where you can find a given actor’s agent or manager, but can be interpreted to be something else.
Last but not least, as with everything online, ebusiness owners have the luxury of easily and quickly asking our customers most anything, including “What do you think is the best domain name for this project?”
So when in doubt, ask your customers what they think. Give them a choice of a few domains you’ve narrowed it down to, and offer a prize of some sort to encourage participation. It works, and you’ll end up avoiding potholes along the way.

HSE Urges All Stakeholders to Contribute to Safety
In the first case of corporate manslaughter, Cotswold Geotechnical Holding has been charged under the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007. The case is coming up for hearing on 17th of June, and the HSE is taking some important steps to increase understanding of the new paradigm.
The HSE has decided to launch a new strategy on 3rd June 2009, known as Be Part of the Solution.
