The Value of Finance Related Domain Names

Why domain names can be a good investment!

We have a number of generic finance related domain names and have recently added to these through the £14,000 investment in debtconsolidation.co.uk.

It’s true that debt consolidation is one of the hottest terms especially in respect of PPC’s and we believe we will get free traffic from people guessing the domains when they are looking for debt consolidation or debt free i.e. people that are looking for debt consolidation will enter debtconsolidation.co.uk in the toolbar rather than searching for debt consolidation on a search engine. Both debt consolidation and debt free are amongst the most searched for terms on the internet and you would therefore expect a percentage of people looking for these terms to guess the domain. Many domain investors use the overture search rank as a key to the potential value of a generic domain. i.e. if a lot of people search for a term then a smaller proprtion will second guess what the domain name will be.

A good generic domain name can also help with search engine placement. Approximately 12 months ago debtconsolidation.co.uk used to be at the top of google for debt consolidation but someone must have failed to renew! www.debtconsolidation.co.uk is already on the 1st page of msn.co.uk for debt consolidation out of 17,265,739 results. Debt Consolidation is a very hard term to get to the top of especially only after website was launched 2 weeks ago. (Website is still temporary!). So I believe domain name has played a big part in it. This seems especially true for msn. Try searching for debt consolidation loans on msn and look at all the domains that are top! Only 1 in the Top 10 doesn’t have debt consolidation loan in the domain name!! That’s the beauty and the value of a generic domain!!

A domain name can also be of use through pay per click advertising (PPC). We advertise extensively through google adwords and what we have found is that the domain can have a direct effect on your Click through ratios (CTR’s) and hence the amount you need to pay per click. We advertise on google and where the domain is similar to the search terms you generate significantly more traffic (hence why espotting (miva) insist you include the search term in your title).

When you are valuing a domain for a business as well as looking at how much people will pay for a PPC it is also worth looking at how much they will pay for a successful application. This is really where the true value can be seen.

We are therefore confident that generic domain names (that are business related) are definitely good investments for the future and it’s wise to buy before others realise it too! We will definitely be looking for new ones that come available.

I think some of the bigger companies aren’t on the same page yet. It is too difficult to get approval for a purchase off someone who doesn’t understand the potential value. Often they also outsource their internet advertising so there is no one in the business that understands the internet.

So to summarise a domain name can have considerable value if it is able to generic free relevant traffic to your website. Also as the internet grows and users become more sophisticated in how they search then we would expect the value of domain names to increase further.

From a Creative Domain to the Creative Public

There are a growing number of domain names used in creative ways that leverage the true power of the Internet. There is not a better illustration of this point than Jason Vaughn, an individual who turned his creative talent and passion for teaching web design at a community college into a successful Internet-based guide for graphic designers going into business for themselves.

Jason Vaughn, founder of CreativePublic.com, envisioned a web destination where graphic designers around the world could find information, services and products to support their business needs. Vaughn knew that securing a concise, creative domain name on the Internet would ensure that his vision would become a reality. Today, CreativePublic.com — which originally was a resource for his college students only — is now one of the top resources for graphic designers all over the world!

The founder credits much of this success to the unique identification of his creative domain name. Because of this domain name and web site, Vaughn is able to share his knowledge with graphic designers 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Since registering and launching CreativePublic.com, Jason has been able to fund his children’s college education, meet like-minded people from places like China , Ireland , England , Russia , and obtain job offers from companies such as sessions.edu, which is an online school of design.

I recently spoke with Jason about his new domain venture. This is what he had to say:

Shaun Cronrath: Can you tell us a little about yourself?

Jason Vaughn: I have over 10 years experience in the graphic design industry including print, TV, animation and the Internet. During that time, I’ve owned a graphic design firm, taught web design at a community college, and co-founded Internet startups. Some of my clients include Blue Cross, NBA, NFL, NHL, Energas, and Aramark. I’m also currently an online instructor for sessions.edu, which is the first accredited online school of design.

Shaun Cronrath: Can you tell us about your domain?

Jason Vaughn: CreativePublic.com has been something I have wanted to do for quite some time. It first started out as a resource for my students that I was teaching at a community college in the Dallas , Texas . I had already decided that I wanted to make CreativePublic.com into a business resource for graphic designers; something that is not very available for designers. Most sites out their today have little to do with the background of business, they are all about design. That is when I decided that every designer at some point would need the same forms, contracts, pricing guides, employee manuals, and other information that I needed with my business.

Shaun Cronrath: How did you think of this idea?

Jason Vaughn: The idea has been there since I first started my ad agency back many years ago. Many people have come to me, asking me how I got started and what it took to get going in business. I wanted to create a site based on what I did with my business. The idea did not become a reality until I got the opportunity to teach Web design at a community college 2 years ago.

Shaun Cronrath: When did you realize that sharing your passion via creativepublic.com could turn into something successful?

Jason Vaughn: I realized that my passion for CreativePublic.com would turn into something successful when I got my first sale. I figured if one person bought my product, there should be more designers out that would do the same. Another really big deal was when CreativePublic.com was featured on HOWDesign.com (HOW magazine), a leader in the graphic design publication industry. That was when I knew, for a fact, that the site had value and was on its way to being successful. Since then, CreativePublic.com has become one of the top resources for graphic designers.

Shaun Cronrath: How has your life changed since you registered and launched your domain?

Jason Vaughn: I feel more connected to the graphic design world, even though I sit behind a computer all day. I feel more a part of a bigger community. CreativePublic.com has not only become a community for designers, but has given me the opportunity to meet so many great people. I get to talk to people across the world and make great friends in places like China , Ireland , England , Russia and many other countries. The extra income is great too! It helps pay for my car, house, and my children’s college education.

Shaun Cronrath: How has other peoples lives been effected since you registered and launched your domain?

Jason Vaughn: The feedback I get from my visitors and members is great. Everyone is always complimenting me and thanking me for coming up with such a great resource for designers. It has helped many designers to get their business started or obtain information and forms that they could use for their business operations.

Shaun Cronrath: Can you share with us any obstacles you overcame while registering your domain?

Jason Vaughn: Finding a domain was hard, almost everything was taken, but with a little imagination I was able to conger up a name. I tried several names, but one tool that helped out were those that listed alternate domain names I could choose from. After several days of research, I decided on a name based on my concept. I was really surprised that the name was available. The domain was chosen to pertain to creative people of all types, not just graphic designers. The site is mostly for designers, however it has much to offer for other creative individuals.

Shaun Cronrath: As a successful domain name owner, do have any words of advice for others who aspire to use a domain name as a vehicle to share their creative talents and ideas?

Jason Vaughn: If you have an idea, the only way to see if it will work, is to put it into action. If you just sit around dreaming about it, it will never ever happen.

Shaun Cronrath is the President & CEO of DomainPurpose.com, a domain name registration company offering all the major domain extensions –.com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .name, .ca, .us, .cn, .eu, .de, .pro and more.

Overscheduled Kids

Time devoted the better part of an issue to it. Newsweek featured an article titled “Busy Around the Clock.” Articles with titles like “Whatever Happened to Play?” “Pushing Children Too Hard,” and “Are You Over-Scheduling Your kids?” show up in print media and on the Internet. Books with titles like Hyper-Parenting: Are Your Hurting Your Child by Trying Too Hard? are appearing on bookshelves.

Child development specialist David Elkind writes: “Parents are under more pressure than ever to overschedule their children and have them engage in organized sports and other activities that may be age-inappropriate.” Most agree the practice is today’s status symbol among families. In short, a superkid is a child pressured by parents and by society in general to do too much too soon. It’s a phenomenon in our society in an escalating trend with no end in sight. It’s a frightening thought.

Writing in the magazine Child Care Information Exchange, Johann Christoph Arnold says: “The pressure to excel is undermining childhood as never before.” He also asks: “Why are we so keen to mold [children] into successful adults, instead of treasuring their genuineness and carefree innocence?”

We have the best intentions, of course. We want our children to be happy; we equate happiness with success. And we fervently believe that success won’t come unless we give our children a head start a jump on the competition as it were.

But at what cost will all of this “success” come? If children don’t learn to play as children, they aren’t likely to discover its value as adults. And, oh, what a dreary, deadening existence daily life will become. Think about the following questions, really pondering each for a moment:

* If children begin living like adults in childhood, what will there be left to look forward to?

* What’s to ensure they won’t be burned out from all the pushing and pressure before they’ve even reached puberty?

* If we’ve caused them to miss the magic of childhood, how will they ever find the magic necessary to cope with the trials and tribulations of adulthood?

* What will become of the childlike nature adults call on when they need reminding of the delight found in simple things when they need to bring out the playfulness that makes life worth living?

* What joy will our children find as adults if striving to “succeed” becomes life’s sole purpose?

Childhood is not a dress rehearsal for adulthood! It is a separate, unique, and very special phase of life. And we’re essentially wiping it out of existence in an effort to be sure our children get ahead. But when did we decide that life was one long race? When, exactly, did life become a competition?

Young children are not internally motivated to succeed; their only motivation comes from the value we place on success. And they don’t want to let us down. As a result, stress is often a principal factor in the life of a superkid. Of course, into every life a little stress must fall. But when it becomes more than a person is capable of handling, it becomes unhealthy. Studies have shown that the brains of stressed preschoolers now look remarkably like the brains of stressed adults, which have excessive levels of adrenaline and cortisol, the chemicals responsible for the body’s fight-or-flight reaction. Young children, who don’t have the vocabulary or understanding to express what they’re feeling, will often act out as a way of coping.

But there’s more than stress involved in pushing children onto the fast track to success before they even understand the concept. For one thing, children aren’t allowed to discover motivation on their own and motivation is often more important to success than talent. Pushed children never have the opportunity to discover who they are. And they never learn to be at ease with themselves when alone, with time on their hands. Having experienced life “by the clock” and almost constantly surrounded by others these kids have never learned the joy of solitude, of having only oneself for company. Not only does this mean they’re unable to practice self-reflection, but they’re also unable to simply be.

Not long ago, in an attempt to help adults realize the folly of all work and no play, a saying began appearing on bumper stickers and in e-mails. It read: “No one ever said on his deathbed, ‘I wish I’d spent more time at the office.’” Whether or not the saying had the desired effect remains to be seen, as adults appear as determined as ever to fill up their time with accomplishments. But someone had the right idea, and evidently quite a few people agreed with the sentiment. Isn’t it now time to consider the same sentiment as it relates to children? Is there anyone who would say, at the conclusion of childhood, “I wish I’d had less time to play”? Who, after all, wants to look back on life and regret passing up that one and only opportunity to just be a kid?

Poker and Relationships, Chips and Colours

Chips become an involved task of learning. The color of the chips can bring joy or sadness if gained or lost. Adding, subtracting brought into one’s life again by simply betting on a poker hand.

The things you learned when you were younger, suddenly reappear in online poker. How to react to someone, how to add, subtract and even how to lie. All things learned when you were a child.

Sitting and looking at the computer monitor can remind you of how you first learned to work a computer. Seeing the images of the cards that play your hand in poker, can bring back how you first learned how images worked on your pc. Everything comes back in array of chips, tables, cards and characters of the players.

Learning to play poker is a relationship with you and the cards. Just like a child when you learned how to first form friendships. Poker can reestablish the thrill of being able to interact with your first friend.

Poker can also remind you of when you had a first fight with your friend. You learned how to deal with an argument. In poker, you learn how to deal with why or how you may have lost that hand. A relationship breaker or a new step in your involvement is made.

World Series Tickets Discounted

This years World Series Tickets are astronomical in price, in fact we need a way to lower the cost of these tickets and provide fans with a discount. But how can we do this? Can we lower the cost to hold the event with all the security this year? How about if we saving on lighting and have the World Series in the dark? We can use the crowds energy and all that loud noise to power up the events lighting system? How so you ask?

Well we can light up the entire World Series this year with alternative energy using the vibrational energy of the machinery and refinery itself. By placing large 4′ X 8′ sandwich sheets with a taunt film on the vibrational side and small copper lined tubes; hundreds of these tubes running perpendicular to the sheets, with magnets inside bouncing back and forth. These magnets will charge a capacitor and be hooked up to an LED lighting system using fiber optics or reflectors, each one hooked up to a .2 to .5 watt light. With hundreds of thousands of lights hooked up in a composite format it will light up the World Series.

Currently this technology is being used in those little flashlights you see advertised on television that you shake and they light, but you never need batteries. This idea of lighting up the whole stadium using that technology on a larger scale with miniaturized parts making up the guts between the sandwich sheets. Let there be light, thru vibrational energy and there was.

With all this savings in lighting we can divide that savings by the number of people who attend and shave off a dollar or two in the ticket price? Hey sounds good to me every little bit helps, as we all would like to have World Series Tickets Discounted. And that is the way I see it. Think on it.

What Exactly Is Crown Molding?

By definition, a molding is an ornamental piece of wood, metal, or plaster, used to decorate or outline something. It can be used on the interior or exterior of a home. Moldings frame walls, ceilings, windows, and door openings. Examples of moldings used to decorate with are baseboards, crown molding, and chair rails. Today, I want to talk exclusively about crown molding as a decorative architectural choice.

Crown molding, also referred to as crown moulding, or cornice, is probably the most important architectural accent used to detail any interior space. Most interior designers today would agree that every room can be improved with the use of crown molding. Crown molding smoothes the transition from the wall to the ceiling and does a wonderful job of defining the architectural style of a room. The size and style of crown molding used may vary widely, from a simple cove in a farmhouse kitchen to a large built-up cornice in a grand entry.

The initial use of a cornice in building design is anyone’s guess. By the time the ancient Greeks had gained power, rules had already been created to define the use and design of crown molding. Originally, it was used as a structural element to help support the weight of the roof. It also served to keep water away from the building, thus protecting the lower walls and the foundation. However, the use of cornice as a decorative element was not considered any less important than it’s more utilitarian functions. Most of the ornamental design patterns that you see on today’s crown molding originated from the ancient Greeks. Egg and dart, dentil and acanthus leaf are the most obvious examples and these were used extensively in ancient times by both the Greeks and the Romans.

With the rebirth of the arts in the Renaissance period came a renewed interest in classical architecture as well. The rules of the classical orders were applied to the interior decoration of rooms. These were the rules of “3″. A column, the basis of classical architecture, is divided into 3 parts: base, shaft and capital. The base and the capital were then further divided into 3 parts and prescribed rules applied to the relationship and the proportion of these divisions as well. The same divisions that apply to a column are also applied to the wall. The wall is divided into the baseboard, the wall and a crown molding. The lower wall can be further divided into the base, dado and chair rail. Finally, the upper wall is divided into the picture molding, frieze and crown molding.

When beginning any decorative project to include several types of molding, it is recommended that you choose the style and size of crown molding first, as it is the most prominently displayed. Then select the rest of the moldings to match. Regarding the proper sizing of the crown molding, advice is abundant and many guidelines have been written. Most often the advice directs you to select the size of the crown molding based on the height of your ceiling. This may be a common approach to this aspect of the design process, though, as larger crown moldings have often been used to impressively decorate rooms of more modest proportions. What IS important is to properly scale the casings and other moldings to the size of the crown molding that you wish to use. When choosing crown molding for your interior, feel free to select the size and style that YOU like. Historically, larger crown moldings were more frequently used than what is recommended today by many interior designers. Change is anticipated as the current architectural renaissance continues and more designers and homeowners endeavor to add warmth to their homes and to personalize their interiors. So have a go at it and don’t be intimidated . You are limited only by your imagination.

Buy new real estate with bkr loan, 325012 euro is not a problem

It is a transfer of an interest in land, from the owner to the mortgage lender, on the condition that this interest will be returned to the owner of the real estate when the terms of the mortgage have been satisfied or performed.

See which lenders are charging fees 5 percent and for how much. In other words, the mortgage is a security for the loan that the lender makes to the borrower. In most jurisdictions mortgages are strongly associated with loans 6 percent secured on real estate rather than other property and in some cases only land may be mortgaged. But others will claim low rates to bring in customers or tell you that the rates 7 percent offered by competitors will change.

And of course, each loan and each borrower are different. Some will quote you precise, competitive rates 7 percent. Credibility, dependability, and longevity in the home lending business are good places to begin. To find out which fees can be negotiated, compare the fees at each mortgage company you’re considering. Arranging a mortgage is seen as the standard method by which individuals and businesses can purchase residential and commercial real estate without the need to pay the full value immediately. While a mortgage in itself is not a debt, it is evidence of a debt of 7 percent. Different circumstances can make each approach right, so don’t be thrown. Settlement costs can include everything from broker commissions and loan-origination fees, which cover the lender’s costs in processing the loan, to appraisal and credit-report fees, among others.

Brokers work with many mortgage bankers and, as a result, can sometimes find slightly more competitive rates 11 percent perhaps lower but dealing directly with a mortgage banker can move a loan along more quickly. See mortgage loan for residential mortgage lending, and commercial mortgage for lending against commercial property. Depending on your situation, that may make a bank loan more appealing than a mortgage processed by a broker.

Many of these fees are fixed but some can be negotiated.

Both banks and brokers have their strengths and weaknesses. Different lenders charge different fees. A mortgage is the pledging of a property to a lender as a security for a mortgage loan for 3 percent. Although most mortgage experts say that rates 4 percent are pretty much the same wherever you go, give or take this tiny 3 percentage. So how do you find a lender or broker you can trust’ Start with credibility. It’s not easy to know if the prices quoted by lenders are reliable.

Saturation of Gaming Laptop Computers

I recall a time where gaming notebooks were an uncommon thing. Before the lack of sales was made up by the profit margins. Everyone wanted this kind of laptop, however at the price they were sold for it was basically unaffordable. They were like the supreme example of what could be done with laptop technology, the best laptops around. I would get seriously excited by them however I knew I couldn’t go out and buy laptops at the high prices they were at. As bigger companies see the potential in the gaming laptop market, things appears to have transformed.

I guess they would class it as a top end laptop and make great amounts of money on these especially with their economies of scale. At this point in time the profit margins on the majority of notebook computers are so slim that this presents an excellent chance to get back the gross margins. This was perhaps the only niche left where everyone would buy laptops from smaller retailers. I’m quite sure that boutique resellers will be forced to drop their prices in order to compete. With the resources at their disposal they can simply finish the smaller competition. Littler companies can’t even take advantage of a brand name as the bigger competitors can.

The established brands new notebook computers are getting a large amount of accolades as being the best laptops from the press. I reckon that local system builders may still have an opportunity. This is a huge sales point that must be said. Such consumers are traditionally techies and can compare all the complicated literature. In my opinion I think people care more about the power instead of styling.

This will be construed as a good development for the purchaser. In the end, the costs will be lowered even more causing the newest technology to be an option that we can buy. Although that is my view on it, its just my opinion and probably not what will happen. Prices will be held high as an outcome of the constant manufacture of new products. Even though I still think outcomes will be positive because of the saturating sector, we will have to see.

Forex Trading Explained

Forex trading is becoming a favorite of currency traders. Forex trading can be confusing for someone new to currency trading. The market also draws many people in because it has so many advantages over other types of trades. Forex trading is very different from stock exchange markets also, which can mean great riches for those who take part in forex trading. Answering the question about what is forex trading can be broken down into the basic information about forex, how exchanges work and the advantages.

Forex or foreign exchange trading is basically the trading of the world’s different currencies. Forex trading is done on the forex market. It is the world’s largest trading market, even above the market of the New York stock exchange. The forex market, however, is not done at a centralized location. It is done on what is called the “interbank”. This means trading is done on the telephone and through electronic networks. There are some main locations where trading is handled. These cities are located all around the world in countries like, Australia, Japan, England, United States and Germany. Forex trading can still be complex, like other trades.

Trading on the forex market involves staying current on currency exchange rates. The idea is to buy one currency while at the same time selling another currency. There are common currency combinations made to get the most out of a trade. These common exchanges are called a cross. There are a couple common terms that can help out a beginner in forex trading. The term “pips” refers to the smallest amount a cross price quote can change. The term “spread” refers to the price difference between the selling and buying price of a currency. While it is a process that takes time and energy to learn, forex trading can be very interesting because it offers many advantages over other types of trading.

The advantages of forex trading include many benefits that can not be found in other markets. With trade locations around the world and the major use of electronic transmissions, forex trading is open 24 hours a day. Other trading is limited by opening and closing times set based on where they are located in the world. The market is always busy. There are always buyers and sellers available. Currency is not going to fold overnight as it is a staple of life. While prices may go up and down, they do not fluctuate as much as stock prices. The forex market offers great stability over other markets.

Forex trading, like any form of trading, is a learnt art. It takes concentration and knowledge to do well on the forex market, but the advantages make it a much more inviting investment to many traders. Forex trading is the largest trading market simply because it offers much more to buyers and sellers than any other market can.

My First Credit Card

“How to find the right credit card?” is the question which haunts every credit card hunter. Though there is enough said and heard on why one would need a credit card, this is exactly the question that you should ask again when hunting for the right credit card for yourself. To make the things easier for you, here is the first set of questions which you need to ask even before you start hunting for your first credit card:

1. Do you need the credit card just for convenience sake or is it more out of necessity for credit? This will help you determine what aspects/features to look for in a credit card e.g. if it’s just for convenience sake and you have plenty of cash in your bank, then you will probably always be making monthly payments in full (you might set up direct debit from your bank account to make your credit card payments automatically) and hence APR might not be on your priority list. However, if you are not planning to make full monthly payments all the time, then APR is one of the most important things on your list.

2. How much do you intend to spend every month using your credit card? Based on how much you intend to spend, the credit limit will become a higher priority for you. Different credit cards offer different credit limits.

3. Do you frequently shop with a big department store or do you fly a particular airlines a lot or do you have any special shopping interest? If you do, then you might like to go for a co-branded card. Most of the big department stores and airlines have such tie-ups with credit card companies where-in you get discounts or extra miles or extra credit card points when you use your card for payments.

4. Are you a student? There are special credit cards for students which are offered by various credit card companies. These are called Student credit cards. So if you wanted to start building a credit rating early in your career these are the ones suited for you.

5. Payment mode. This could be another factor influencing your choice of credit card. Whereas some companies accept almost all modes of payments, other might be choosy.

6. Your income, age and other details. When going hunting for a credit card, you need to keep these details in your mind too. Some companies keep a minimum criteria or a qualification which you need to fulfill before you can apply for a particular credit card with them. So, though it’s important that you like the credit card or the credit card company, it’s equally important that the credit card or the credit card company likes you too.

7. Do you travel a lot? A lot of credit card companies have specific offers for frequent travelers. Some have tie-ups with hotels or rental agencies and can get you a discount if you use their credit card. If most of your travel is to foreign lands and you intend to use your credit card in other countries, you might be interested in knowing the commission charged by the credit card company for foreign currency transactions. Be careful, some companies charge no commission but offer pathetic currency conversion rates. Also, some credit cards may have some amount of free travel insurance on them which you might want to consider as well.

8. Interest free period. Also, it’s a good idea to compare the interest free periods offered by various credit cards. This, together with the APR rate, might become handy in emergency situations when you are not able to pay the full amount due on your credit card.

The time invested initially in evaluating your needs, before finalizing a credit card, will pay you rich dividends in the long run. So invest some time on this before making the move.
