Private Label Rights and eBooks - What You Need To Know
The online eBook marketplace has usually been stocked with titles written by authors who then made resell rights available to those who hoped to profitably offer the book for sale (or, as is often the case with eBay, auction). Generally, the rights the eBook seller obtained were limited to reselling the text of the original eBook as is.
This strategy made a great deal of sense for the original offer. Authors have historically despised having their work edited or their messages changed. Additionally, many eBooks have contained links to products and services in which the author has a vested interest. Thus, in some ways the eBook seller is working as a marketing agent for the author, spreading affiliate links to customer after customer.
In recent years, however, an alternative eBook rights option has emerged and is increasing in popularity. One not only buys the resell rights to an eBook, they also obtain what are called private label rights. In essence, they can edit, change, add to, rearrange or otherwise adjust the content of the eBook as they see fit. They can also “re-brand” the product, claiming personal authorship and or adjusting the title. They can then outfit the eBook with their own marketing or affiliate links.
Instead of merely owning the rights to an eBook they can resell, they actually purchase the right to own the actual material and its uses when private label rights are obtained. This gives the eBook seller a great deal of flexibility and can allow him or her the opportunity to create a unique product that is carefully designed with the overall needs of their online business efforts in mind.
There are detractors to the private right phenomena. They worry that a series of differently-titled eBooks could flood a market, all of which contain essentially the same information. This, they argue, is detrimental to consumers and could cause some loss of confidence in the eBook industry as a whole. They also note that products sold in this way will never have the credibility of a known author associated with them. These complaints do have some legitimacy and undoubtedly warrant a great deal of consideration.
However, the idea of owing an eBook and its contents outright will be almost irresistible for many eBook sellers. They can immediately envision strategies making use of private label rights that make their prior arrangement of owning only resell rights seem as restrictive as a straightjacket.
Only time will tell how the sudden upswing in deals involving the sale of private label rights will effect the eBook industry as a whole. In the short term, however, it would appear that those eBook sellers who invest in private label rights products will have an upper hand on many sellers who are dealing only in eBooks with resell rights.
Anyone who is serious about maximizing his or her profit in the eBook industry should at least research and consider sales of eBooks made with private label rights intact.

Teflon Pans Cause Cancer? Rumor and Truth
If you have heard rumors that your Teflon pans will give you cancer, relax. PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid, a suspected carcinogen) is used to manufacture Teflon, but there is none present in the finished products. While the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is rightfully concerned about PFOA in the environment, you can continue to use your Teflon-lined pans without fear.
However, non-stick pans may release other toxic particles if they are used at very high heats, so they are not appropriate for deep-fat frying, broiling, grilling or similar high- temperature cooking methods. I recommend avoiding this type of cooking anyway, because high heat and browning can form carcinogens in foods regardless of the type of cookware you use.
Browning foods that contain starches or sugars causes sugars to stick to protein to form advanced glycated end products, also known as AGEs. Burning fat when you grill or broil meats or other foods causes polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH’s). Bothe AGEs and PAHs are potent known carcinogens. When you use water-based cooking methods, (steaming, simmering or boiling) that do not involve browning, you do not form AGEs or PAHs. That’s why the most healthful foods are those that are prepared with liquids or eaten raw.

Multivitamins for your children
Pre-schooling children are not like adults. They are more picky with food. Plus poorly prepared canteen food rarely provides them with the proper nutrition they need. This may lead to vitamin deficiency in children, a condition where their bodies loose out on important nutrients vital for proper growth and vitality.
To safeguard children against this, many parents supplement their children’s daily diet with multivitamin syrups. A good one should contain all the eight essential vitamins (vitamin A, 131, B2, B3, B6, C, D and E) important for healthy development.
Some multivitamin syrups even come with the extra benefit of cod liver oil, packed with health promoting properties for the hair, teeth, vision, nails, immunity, joints and bones. If you look around, quite a number are also flavoured with delicious cherry or orange juice for easier consumption.

Tips, Tools and Techniques for Honing Your Public Speaking Skills
It’s a stubborn myth that public speakers are born, not made.
While we assume climbing the corporate ladder or being in the public eye takes hard work ,we cling to the notion that communication abilities come without effort, springing from the lucky few naturally.
Both Presidents Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton, widely regarded as ‘natural’ born communicators, worked continually to hone their ‘natural’ skills. Clinton worked with speech coaches throughout his presidency. Ronald Reagan famously said he couldn’t imagine being president without having been an actor.
It’s not just the communication skills of politicians that people notice. An executive who assumes a strong track record of accomplishment and the right connections will “speak for themselves” assumes wrongly. More often, the lack of communication ability will erode confidence in leadership abilities, and at the very least, become a stumbling block in accomplishing goals.
Leaders must have a clear vision and able to articulate that vision well enough to inspire others. Leaders are expected to display confidence, most readily by the way they communicate with confidence to others. Like so many other attributes, the communication skills so necessary for today’s leaders are not automatically acquired. They are learned and honed purposefully and with effort.
So what to do if your communication skills are not on par with the position of authority you’ve achieved? Here are five tips to get you started on the road to communicating with power:
Take every opportunity to practice.
It sounds obvious, but we generally avoid the things we don’t like to do and we generally don’t like doing the things we feel we’re not good at. If you’ve been delegating the public speaking to others, stop. If you’ve been avoiding those opportunities, stop.
Start small.
Many people’s fear of public speaking is directly proportionate to the number of people listening. If large audiences intimidate you, seek out opportunities to address smaller numbers of “friendly” audiences. You can work up to larger numbers, and to audiences who don’t know you as you grow your confidence
Never read a speech you haven’t rewritten.
Even if you have someone writing remarks or a speech for you, make sure you rewrite the final draft or at least key phrases in your own words. You know your own “voice” best. Unless you are a professional actor, or have an exceptional speechwriter, speaking someone else’s words will never sound as passionate and persuasive as your own.
Never give a speech you don’t believe in.
If you’re not a professional actor, now is not the time to try and become one. A lack of passion and conviction will show. Concentrate on what you do believe and what you can say with confidence and you’ll be much more likely to connect with your audience.
Learn to use your voice.
Our voices are as individual and as unique to us as our fingerprints. They provide an enormous amount of information to those listening about how we really feel about what we’re saying. Make sure your voice matches your message and says what you really want it to about you.

Direct Hyperlinks - Recommendations of the World Wide Web
Links are much like referrals in the real world. When you hang out with people smarter than you then this in turn will eventually make you smarter because of your fellowship which in turn will give you more perceived value. Referrals or links have three very important things in common: more people you know the better, the more quality people you know the better, and not knowing everybody the better.
At first, starting out in business you probably did not know numerous people. But as you got more clients, your sphere of influence becomes broader. Thus allowing you the ability to recommend them to others. With links, it is the same way. Link popularity is dependent upon the number of incoming links you have, thus giving your web site more exposure and higher rankings.
As part of the World Wide Web, links operate the same fashion. A link ( referral ) from an .edu is thought more to be more authoritative because of the source, thus giving you a great referral. Do not forget Bad company corrupts good character.Accordingly if you begin joining with fishy people then your site placements will go down.
In addition to be cognizant to the fact that if you get a vast amount of friends over night, then red flags start popping up and your website usually gets punished by the search engines.
At Magnetiks, a Houston SEM company should help you build your links regularly over time thus ensuring continued web presence on the World Wide Web.
Dog Puppy Training
A new puppy in the home excites everyone especially children but
make sure you got the puppy for a good reason and not just on a
spur of the moment feeling. Like they say dogs are for life not
just for Christmas. A puppy can bring lots of happy memories and
times but they have a lot of training and work involved to, they
are not all fun and no work!
A puppy’s temperament depends on where the puppy has been
brought up and what type of breed he is. German shepherds,
Rottweilers, bull dogs and boxers are all guard type dogs so
tend to be very loving and protective. Border and bearded
collies tend to be herding dogs and reared on farms and tend to
be quite enthusiastic and never sit still (be aware because they
are reared on a farm they may be a little bit nervous around
modern day technologies, such as bridges, loud noises etc).
Labradors, gun dogs and pointer are all hunting dogs so expect
them to be full of energy and laughable moments. Of course these
are just general expectations every dog has its day…and its
personality!
Puppy dog training is something that can be achieved in a matter
of weeks depending how much time and attention you spend on it.
You don’t need to train for hours and hours a day, a few minutes
several times a day is all it takes. The first thing you need to
train your new puppy in is obedience, commands like sit, come,
heel, stay and fetch are basic enough for them to learn. As they
get older you can incorporate commands like paw, roll over and
play dead! Training a young puppy is not as hard as you may
think as they are like a blank sheet of paper waiting to be
written on. The way and things that that they are taught will
stick to them and will influence them later on in life, although
training isn’t forever so you need spend a few minutes every day
just to keep reminding them what to do.
There are not so nice consequences involved when puppies aren’t
trained, for a start your house will constantly be a toiler
ground for them and your furniture will have massive holes in
it. Puppies are like babies and need to be taught the difference
between right and wrong, to do this you need some puppy dog
training!
Many handlers experienced or in-experienced are turning towards
training products and aids but training can be done without
these methods. Just a bit of good old hard work! A puppy may
take several months to training but when it is complete the
rewards will be well worth it, but don’t forget to top up on
your training for several minutes each day or your dog will
slowly forget and you’ll have to start all over again, with an
even bigger task, training an older dog!
A Great Bargain Hunters Guide to LCD Tellies
Around a decade ago the actual suggestion of a wall-hung television can have appeared like a daydream. It was out of the grasp of most avid consumers, with higher costs that needed taking out a 2nd mortgage to obtain these very shiny televisions. Nonetheless, over a period these dream TV sets reached the level of attainability. While still not something you could just go out & pay for, it has step by step become much more of a possibility. RRP prices for these flat panel HDTV sets are nowadays decreasing quicker than new house values, and have made the dream a reality.
At Present there are two competing flat-panel products; plasma and LCD. Despite the fact that each product delivers a vivid picture & these television sets can deem almost identical from the front, the equipment on the inside is pretty different. And although LCD televisions have been limited to 37 inches & smaller, television sets with the liquid crystal display technology are at this time in sizes as large as plasma.
Although, even with that, loads of shoppers discover plasma to deliver more than a few fundamental selling points over LCD TVs. The biggest benefit is that plasma television sets generally contain deeper black levels-meaning that the blacks are in truth black and not barely just a dark gray. This in turn means that the colours are much more clear and realistic. The most up-to-the-minute models from Sharp & Hitachi have in fact taken the black levels to incredible depths, and as a consequence have developed the greatest images we’ve viewed to date.
Irrespective of the reports that plasma television sets “needs to be recharged” after eight thousand hours, nothing can be further from the reality. These days flat panel plasma televisions should often function for 60,000 hours or more, offering years of first-class telly viewing. Whilst there has been an unease over problems like that of burn-in (rightly so, as this might possible ruin that expensive plasma television), the most up-to-date TVs contain equipment to handle picture retention, offering pixel shift modes that gradually move the full display, and more significantly, remove any ghosting should static images essentially “stick” the image. This has a white wash mode as well as an opposite mode to take out any burn-in. Digital Direct - Great deals on Plasma TV’s.
The UKs Most Exciting Marital Toy Survey for Chicks to Try
So adult sex toy are on the lips of every sexy girl these days, either talking about them in the toilet, at the nightclub or on the tv. But which adult sex toy is the nicest, with the giant choice to select from surely a sex toy company had to find out the best one.
A new marital aid site asked over 1 hundred chicks in September what their top adult sex toy was along with other personal questions.
If you love sex toys you should try out Dildos
It was found that the most top adult sex toy for chicks was the vibrator, and they just loved it! Girls were so excited by the idea of a large vibrator that many of them would use it straight after coming home from work. The best models of vibrator were the Jessica bunny vibrators as they help to stimulate the clit as well as inserting into the flower.
The other most popular adult sex toy was the exciting dong. Dongs are similar to vibrators except they do not have batteries or vibrate. Dongs come in all shapes and sizes from six inches to twelve inches. They can come with sucker cups to have an excellent experience hands free and can easily attach to a bath or toilet set. Dongs have been a firm best seller since the 1990s and looks like they will be around for a long time.
So it was decided that the vibrator was the winner and the dildo came in second place, with some many sex toys out there it was difficult to know which type of vibrator was the most exciting for women to try. The classic vibrator sex toys are battery powered and shaped like a blokes penis. Standard vibrator sex toys are shaped just like the real thing and use batteries for power. They can be made up of plastic, vinyl metal or silicone. They can either be popped in or placed against your vagina to get the sexual sensation. Sex bomb stock a wide range of classic vibrator sex toys.
The nicest way to use classic vibrator sex toys is to make sure it is nice and fresh before use, make sure it is not too large for your vagina, and also make sure that you do not use it every Sunday night and you do venture out on a date to the bowling.

Antioxidants: “Free” Radicals Are Costing You Plenty!
The 100 trillion (give or take a few) cells in your body are little energy machines….and in the process of making energy, they produce by-products, much like a car engine produces exhaust. The by-products are thousands of little “free” oxygen atoms or molecules that contain an unpaired electron. This imbalance makes them very unstable (radical)…so they must search out another atom from which to “steal” an electron.
Stephen Cherniske describes it this way in his book The Metabolic Plan: “Imagine there’s a dance where everyone has a partner. The room is “stable”, and everyone is happy. Suddenly the door opens, and here’s this fellow without a date. Not only is he alone (unpaired), but he’s incredibly good-looking. So this guy goes over and steals some other guy’s date. That guy is now unpaired (and angry), so he tries to cut in on another couple. And before you know it, the entire dance floor is filled with guys fighting over the available girls. In your body, free radicals wreak similar havoc.”
As you are reading this, every single one of your 100 trillion cells is sustaining free radical “hits”…up to 10,000 of them every day. That’s every cell, getting hit 10,000 times a day by these nasty, damaging atoms/molecules!
The really bad news is that it’s not just our own cells producing “exhaust” that creates free radicals. Get a load of these other causes: diets low in highly varied plants, machines and factories spewing out free- radical pollution, increased exposure to ultraviolet radiation, and cigarette smoke. Every puff on a cigarette sends tens of billions of free radicals deep into your tissues. And the National Cancer Institue estimates that more than 50,000 Americans are killed by secondhand cigarette smoke every year.
Free radicals are greatly responsible for the wrinkles and lines on your face. But beneath the surface of your skin is where the real damage is caused by the sun’s ultraviolet rays. Free radicals produced by UV radiation damage the DNA - the genetic blueprints of the cells. This causes the cells to start dividing abnormally. If this damage is not repaired it results in skin cancer. The American Academy of Dermatology reports that malignant melanoma claims the life of one American every hour. See? It’s about more than just the wrinkles on your face.
Your body is under attack, and there is no shortage of published medical literature stating that free radical damage contributes to nearly all disease states: cancer, age-related brain degeneration, cardiovascular disease, and more.
However - do not despair! There is GOOD NEWS! And you can take action STARTING RIGHT NOW to do something about this!
What is an Antioxidant? The Fire Department! The Police Force! The Special Forces Unit!
Antioxidants are your first line of defense against the damage that free radicals are bound and determined to inflict on your cells. So, what are antioxidants, where do they come from, and how do I get them?
“Back in the day” - for centuries, our ancestors ate diets high in natural fruits and vegetables. You may have heard of the “hunting and gathering” diet? A study was done with a tribe of present-day hunters and gatherers, and it was noted that there were seventy-five different plants in their daily diet! And, these plants made up 70 percent of their total calories - equal to 20 servings per day. That is a high antioxidant diet! Plus, they didn’t smoke, weren’t subject to pollution, drank plenty of clear mountain spring water, and were part of a close community.
We face free radical exposure hundreds of times more than what those tribespeople face. We are so civilized that we eat very few antioxidant rich foods, we’re totally stressed out, and we think we can compensate for all of this with a multivitamin. That’s like throwing a glass of water on a huge forest fire!
Take a closer look at the average American diet, which includes less than 10 types of plants, most of which are low in antioxidants. Even though the US Department of Agriculture has been begging us to eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, surveys show that less than 8 percent of Americans actually do this. Look at this statistic: the quarter of the population that eats the fewest fruits and vegetables has more than TRIPLE the heart disease rate compared to the quarter of the population with the highest intake.
OK, OK….enough guilt-tripping! I’m no better at this than you are, believe me! That’s why I am always looking for a solution to this dilemma without having to totally turn my life upside down trying to change the entire way I eat and feed my family.
The solution proposed by a growing number of scientists is to take antioxidant supplements. In 1993, two studies were published in the New England Journal of Medicine which showed that supplemental antioxidants can decrease the risk of heart disease by 26-46 percent. Additional research suggests that antioxidant supplements can also reduce the risk of certain types of cancer.
I heard an interview with a Professor Emeritus at the University of Texas School of Health Science (an expert in antioxidant research) and he explained that our brains are particularly susceptible to damage from free radicals, and that supplementation with powerful antioxidants is a key to maintaining brain function!
Yea! Now THIS is something I can DO! The question is: which supplements?
* Alpha Lipoic acid
* Folic acid (from foliage of dark green, leafy veggies)
* Vitamin B12
* Green Tea (polyphenols)
* Spices: cayenne, garlic, tumeric, cumin, rosemary, oregano, and paprika
* Whole food powdered green drinks
* Whole food purple/red fruit concentrates
* Coenzyme Q-10
* Selenium
* Ginkgo biloba
I recommend you order The Metabolic Plan by Stephen Cherniske. His book will give you all the detail you need to make wise choices.
Here’s to your health!
